Dec. 28th, 2004 10:10 pmIt's taking me a surprisingly long time to accomplish anything this week. It's not due to sleep deprivation, so it could be:
1) I'm too optimistic about how long things will take, so if I imagined my office renovation project would be done in several days, it's really more like a couple of weeks.
2) I'm too easily distracted, so I spent hours today comparing trucks' & SUVs' fuel efficiency and emissions ratings because we may have to buy a new car, rather than finishing the office renovation project.
3) I have too many things to accomplish, so working on any one of them means the rest don't get done.
It's all of these, I think. Tomorrow I'll try to be more focused, but then I'll get bored and want to work on something else instead. So it goes.
