Jun. 29th, 2005 11:25 pmI'm getting frustrated with paying Bell South almost $40 a month for phone service that we barely use, and I'm thinking of trying Vonage. I've read some scary reviews on C-Net though. Many of the reviews are positive, but then there are the ones that say that if you need customer service, you will never ever have even the slightest chance of getting it, and that it's almost impossible to get a refund when you cancel. I have very little patience for products that don't work and companies that don't do what they are supposed to. But I also use my American Express card and call up American Express to reverse the charges when the company is being a jerk. So I wonder if the people on C-Net don't realize that you can do that, or if there is some other catch that I don't know about.
