Sick of waiting for the kitchen to be done, sick of dreading all the work that will go into granite tile. So we found the receipt for the tile, will try to return it for store credit (supposedly after 90 days you can do so at HD) and instead will use thin but solid beech butcher block from IKEA, if we can ever get them to actually give it to us once we have paid for it. It will be a relief to be done with it in more like 1 or 2 months instead of 4 or 5. I am still attached to the idea of having a double sink with a drainboard, and so far only IKEA has such a thing for less than a million dollars, so I hope their sinks aren't crapulent. Now looking forward to being relieved.
