Mar. 17th, 2005 08:02 amLast night, I was Martha Stewart of the dogs. I sewed a bolster for one dog bed, and patched up the other one that they enjoy tearing apart and ripping the stuffing from. When I was finished with them those beds were so cozy that the dogs climbed in and snoozed for the whole evening. Dr. Phil was on while I was sewing, and he featured a kid who has nightmares about Dr. Phil coming to him at night and putting him in a headlock. So the parents brought the poor kid onto the show, and asked him if he wanted to meet Dr. Phil, and the kid said "NO!!" He looked genuinely scared. I wonder how the idea of Dr. Phil getting him into a headlock ever got into his mind.
Tomorrow I have a Brittany rescue dog visitor, on his way from Chattanooga to Savannah for heartworm treatment. He's going to spend the night here and then I'm supposed to take him to someone else, who will be at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. It should be fun.
