What is the real difference between a jaguar and a panther?

I am thwarted again. I keep wanting to try Vonage, but am scared by all the horrid reviews it's gotten, so instead I downloaded Skype and then saw that it requires OS X-Panther and I only have Jaguar. Wah.

Really, Vonage has some bad press? We've used it for over a year now with no problems. It's so much cheaper than the phone company - we even have a toll free number and it's still cheaper. The only drawback, of course, is if our Internet connection is down, we have no phone. But I've got a cell phone for just such emergencies. In fact, it automatically forwards calls to my cell phone if there's no connection.

I am glad to hear you say that. I had been looking at cnet.com reviews and there were a lot of people complaining about awful customer service. But someone who is mad is probably more likely to post a review than someone who is happy. And I too am tired of shelling out the big bucks to Bell South when we receive and make about 10 phone calls per week, max.
