RIP Tungsten C
Oct. 25th, 2005 02:35 pmWell, whatever is wrong with all my computery equipment all of a sudden is not all fixable. iCal went all nutty and I fixed it, and my new printer machine seems to work okay, but my Tungsten C won't charge anymore. It's just barely 2 weeks out of its one year warranty too. But I discovered something potentially really neat--I filed a claim with my AmEx "buyer's assurance plan" and if they approve it, I'll get a credit for the purchase price of the Palm. The plan extends your warranty by a year. So that would be cool if it happens, and it would lessen the blow of having the most expensive toy (in that it was way fancier than what I really need, but I wanted a Palm with wireless) I've ever bought die after only one year.
All the computery nuttiness makes me wonder if I shouldn't even attempt to network the new printer machine for my & Mr H's computers. In the days of AppleTalk cables I coulda, but I don't know what I'm doing anymore.
And we have no kitchen countertop right now so I can't cook dinner and I'm sick of pizza. I guess that means this is an opportunity! An opportunity to NOT eat pizza and NOT cook!
