Ow. I have been putting this plastic stuff up on my windows so it won't be 30 degrees in my office. The plastic gets smashed down onto the window frame with this plastic channel-and-tube setup. I think you're supposed to use a tool to do the smashing, but I used my thumb and now it's purple and hurty. On the plus side, it's not cold anymore. Until a dog or cat pokes a hole in the plastic.
