Oct. 5th, 2004 09:50 pmTried to buy a new dryer at the Sears outlet and wound up just wasting an hour. My new 0% interest credit card wouldn't work so I didn't bother.
The vice presidential debate is on now. John Edwards is doing a good job. Godzilla, I mean Cheney, is behaving pretty much like I thought he would--like a lying asshole.
I put a Kerry sticker on my car yesterday. I got it from the frightening North Georgia State Fair. There was a booth near the Kerry one for "Georgia Right to Life: Protecting Life from Fertilization to Natural Death" and they had a bowl of plastic fetuses for sale for 25 cents each. I wanted to take a picture of it but didn't want to explain myself to those nutjobs. One of the people working at that booth looked no older than about 12, too.
