Dec. 21st, 2004 09:30 amOur plumbing system seems to have righted itself. I don't know what to make of it. The bathtub and toilet are acting as if nothing ever happened.
Clearly this is a trick and there is still a problem somewhere in those pipes. But I think I'd be happy to pretend it's all fine until the next emergency. I'm pretty sure bringing in a professional plumber would not only cost a lot to begin with, but they would find all sorts of things wrong that we didn't even know about, and then we'd have to pay. And I have an arborist coming tomorrow to look at the monster oak tree, and there is nothing DIY about trimming that tree. Its lowest monster branches are at least 20 feet up. So I'll have to save the money I don't have to go towards fixing up that tree, or else towards getting trained to be a tree trimming monkey.
