It's January and it's the perfect kind of spring weather. It makes me want to take my reading and sit outside, but the deck is a huge mess. Maybe I'll do it anyway. Or plant those iris bulbs that have been sitting around for a year.

2 curtain panels for my office--only one window needs them--$6 each. originally $40 each at Mervyns, whatever that is.

2 curtain panels for my bathroom--$2.50 each.

Sadly, the only curtain rods at Ross are gigantic and have fancy doohickeys on the ends that look like they're meant for goring.

The curtain panels are pretty gigantic too--I am going to have to hang them from the ceiling to keep them from dragging on the floor. And I hope that Vivian doesn't get any ideas about clawing or chewing them through the bars of his cage if he gets bored, seeing as how he ate his bed already.
