No turkey for me

Yargh!

I remember clearly telling Mr H at some point in the last year, "Hey, we only use the roasting pan once or twice a year--can you put it up in the XXXXX for storage until we need it?"

Now I need it and I can't think of what XXXXX was. It's not any of the obvious places. It's not even the attic. It wouldn't make sense for it to be the shed. Where the heck did it go? I have a thawed out expensive kosher turkey to cook and I need its fresh leftovers for the coming week.

I didn't find the roasting pan, so I bought a new one, along with one or three of everything else Big Lots sells. Damn that place. But bless it too. It allows me to be an American impulse-buying consumer, only without spending hundreds of dollars at once. Maybe once I run the meat dishes through the dishwasher I'll get the turkey going for dinner. Mr H is sick, and I hope I don't get whatever he has, because I'm being very effective today with my to-do list.
