(no subject)

I was just woken up by Myrtle yelling to come back inside. Usually she's at the back door yelling at about 9:30 am, but today she was at the front door yelling at 7:30 am...because she had caught a big robin, half her size, and brought it to the porch. The poor thing was laying there with a twisted neck, heaving for breath. I let Myrtle in to shut her up but I don't know what to do about the bird. I don't think I can kill it, and I don't think it would be a good idea to let the dogs take care of it either, though they'd probably be efficient. Not good. :(
